hi malpal, we recently opted for a portable satallite set up but before that we were using 1 of these ,directional jobbies,we found it very reliable in all but the weakest of signal areas (even then it managed to get us at least 1 watchable channel) , they are available on-line for about £25 ours cost us £50 but it did come with all the mounting brackets, coax cable, poles etc
we only went for the sat' set up due to it being too gooda a bargin to miss ( my mate was givin it away coz he bought a newer ,better one)
------------- no tin tent outings booked as yet ,just another cruise in Sept' booked so far
