Hi

We have an old portable tv/dvd player that we want to use in a tourer caravan.

We (obviously) need a digital set top box but have been told that some aren't suitable for on campsites as the voltage will be too high (or something along those lines [technophobe]  )

Can anyone recommend one?

Thanks in advance

Voltage on campsites is the same as at home, so don't understand the advice you were given
Any digibox should work - I just bought the cheapest for camping

You can use an electric kettle or a toaster, so a digi box is nothing. Just get the cheapest/smallest or whatever, you'll be fine.

Hi, John.

You couldnt post that link for the HDTV dongle, uncanny but only just talking to my wife that it would be good to invest in a tv next year. This could be the future now...!

hi,whatever your choice in a set top box you will still need a good high aerial for the reception with digital you will have a picture or not.also depends on where you are, there are places in the lakes that the signal is really poor.when this happens you tend to blame your equipment.
