Hello
Wonder if anyone could help? I have a spare sky + box and wondered, if I bought a dish for the caravan could I connect this and receive free channels thru my sky box? Or do I have to buy a receiver?
Thanks
Gill

You would normally connect your SKY + receiver to a TV using a scart lead. I would suspect that your PC Monitor is not equipped with a scart socket however, even an old CRT TV would suffice as long as it has a scart socket.
In this country and northern France a 40cm satellite dish would be adequate but would probably need to be equipped with a twin LNB to enable you to watch one channel whilst recording another.
Please be aware that I have no experience of SKY +. I originally started out with a basic SKY receiver (FTA channels only) before progressing to a Humax Foxsat HD recorder.
Setting up the dish can be something of a pain the first time so try setting it up at home before venturing on a site. If you want a step by step guide just ask.

Check out this "new on the market dish". It does not require a stand and is fitted with mini spirit levels to help set the elevation and azimuth. It's very sturdy, you can even sit on it!
I think that a lot of thought has gone in to the design of this dish.
Not cheap though but good products never are!
