Hi Tracy. Are you talking about a DIABLO xp? If so, the difference is that the XP has, surprisingly, an extra pole in the bedroom area. If you look at pictures of the 900, you will notice that the bedroom pods slope down from the central dome to approach ground level while the XP has the extra pole on each bedroom making the pods feel much more spacious. I can't help you on the length of each one, but we always found the poles on the XP to be quite tight.
