Hi!
I have owned a Khyam Rigidome XXL and then a Gelert Quebec but need more 'indoor' space so what to do for next year is my problem. Sometimes I think I want a tt - a bed being the biggest draw! And then I think about towing ( licences post 1997 and am planning on a VW transporter/ caravelle again for next summer so space not a huge issue) or a new tent? Have looked and looked at tents and not finding much that appeals!! OH very negative about camping at moment too so not
much help there and I need to get it right!!
What suggestions/ advice would you give?
Will hopefully have the money to buy Sept/Oct time!!

I would suggest that if it's a new tent you're after then get to some camping shows - Yeomans do good ones with a variety on display - this helped finalise my brother in laws choice after going to a few displays. At the end of the day he went for a wolf lake 7 - massive thing but you need to get round and look at them - see the quality and material - we're all polycotton now and will never look back - have fun finding...

What about a Motordome to go with the VW camper best of both worlds so to speak leave the tent up and go off for the day , however I am certainly not the oracle where tents are concerned

If you can, try and get down to Caseys over at Chester, they have some real nice "PolyCotton" and "Cotton" tents on display, they may even have a Cabanon "All Season Polyester" tent on display.

They also have a good display of FC's and TT's both new and used.

just to say you can still tow with a post 97 licence,you do have weight limits,but a tt would be well under these.

If you passed you test after Jan 1st 1997 then your license to tow whilst driving isn't the same as us older folk.
