and i cannot figure out why, its in one area kind of between the shoulder blade area, it dries out during the day, but every morning it is wet in the same place. the tent is not leaking and the groundsheet is fine, in fact i moved the bed from one pod to another and it still happenend?
Sounds like condensation from body sweat. Do you have a blanket or something between you and your sleeping bag? A lot of people use a fleece blanket or similar between the airbed and the bottom sheet/sleeping bag to stop this.
Hi, sounds disgusting but as JAX says that is the cause! We sleep on an airbed and I now use an old thick duvet and a fitted sheet between the air bed and us, during the day air everything if possible as well and you should be sorted.
Yes I agree, it is caused by the differential between your body heat and the cold bag of air you are lying on. It creates a "dew point" where the moisture leeches out of the air. To change the dew point, insulate the air bed from the ground with something as simple as cardboard. that should help
