would a caravan awning thats 840cm fit a caravan that should have a 900cm awning on

Very unlikely as you will be short by 1ft each side and won't be able to peg it down. It is possible to get awnings extended and two 30cm triangles inserted in the roof would prob cost between £100 and £150 if done by a decent awning repair company.
