Just make sure it's got a good deep cycle and not just a car battery relabeled to look like a leisure battery. and go for the biggest you can afford something like 170ah If not sure go for a good brand name from a good shop.

I got mine from a small dealer here in Rugby "Avon Batteries" never had any troubles with their batteries as yet...........and around 3/4 the price of anywhere else.
