asda do a battery operated on for about 7 quid ;-)P
takes 4 of them huge batteries gets a fair few pumps out of it to, or just get one that plugs into the cig lighter in car, or as CT says good old foot-pump (but depends on the size of the bed as i SO wouldn't pump ours up by foot)

Hubby and I use to have a race to see who could blow up the kids' two airbeds fastest by mouth. Mind you, that was when we were both cycling regularly and had terrific lungs. It doesn't take as long as you'd think, actually. In our old age though we've taken to using a pump that plugs into the ciggie lighter in the car. It's a Coleman one I think.
Brilliant thank you. Despite all the cycling I do I don't think I fancy blowing up an airbed myself!!!

Got the campingaz 4d quickpump, paid about £6 on amazon. Never had any problems, inflates a dbl airbed in about a min or so and deflates. Also find its great with our vacuum bags when it comes to packing up too!
Have always used a cig lighter one which is fine if you can get your car near your tent or if you inflate them outside if it is dry. So this year I bought the campingaz 4d one so I could inflate them in the bedroom pod. Bought good quality batteries and they are still going strong several trips in. Much prefer this one now.

------------- Wish I could go camping more and not have to work for a living!!!
Before I went EHU I used the 4xD cell battery pump and I think it still has the original batteries in it now (may have changed them once). They seem to last forever.
