Just heard a rumour that Kampa are not producing the Fiesta awning next year.  I heard the the Rally had 'cornered their market'.  Now might be the time to buy of you want one??  If ever we wanted to replace our Fiesta in the future we'd have to go for something like a Sarcamp Sprinter, or even a traditional large porch (not lightweight).  We like to zip out all the sides and not keen on the 'lean-to'/tunnel type.

As anyone else heard this rumour.  I know it's still on the Kampa website, but I think that's old news.

Thats certainly bad news if Kampa drop the Fiesta. I think its better than the rally, easier to erect and more spacious. We may have to pick another one up on the cheap if possible.

We have been looking at the Fiesta as we want a bigger lightweight awning.  The Rally 390 is just a tad too long for our van (we dont want windows covered) so were looking at a 325cm to 350cm size. Just unsure about the door on the front and how this would affect placement of furniture inside, as we prefer side doors.

I wish they made a Rally inbetween the 260 - 390 size.

Hi Anniemac.  We like the fron't door ande are not a fan of the 'lean-to'/tunnel type awning.  We also like to be able to zip out all the panels (4 of them) (mainly for packing away, ease of handling and storing) which you can do with the Fiesta.  If you click on my gallery pictures, the top two are of the Fiesta and you may be able to see what we do.  Our table is an extra large roll top, and there are only three of us.  If you click on the thumbnail picture it enlarges it so you may be able to see more.

Hi David

I think we have a similar table and only three of us too, so that does look plenty big enough and still leaves almost half the awning.  I'll have to think of something else to buy to fill the space - inflatable sofa perhaps?

Thank you for your thoughts.

Hi Anniemac.  If you end up by deciding to buy one, are you aware there are two sizes: the 270 and the 350?  Ours is the 350 (larger one).  If you get the chance, try and find somewhere that has them on display so you can go and check it out.  I'd hate you to buy one on my say-so only to find it doesn't suit.  You can still go back home and buy it on line if you can find a cheaper price.  Let us know how you get on.

Best wishes,
