We find the version with the legs so much better and more stable than having a stove sitting loose on a camping kitchen (many of which don't cater for uneven ground). We just put the legs into the car front to back in the boot separate from the stove bag. Takes up so much less room than a camping kitchen!
Ours in the Campingas Kitchen extra which has a full width griddle tray as well as the burners. Also has two side windshields that fold down as side shelves and an integral shelf under. We haven't bothered with an inbuilt grill as they are generally very inefficient. Far more effective to use a griddle for cooked breakfasts and a folding single slice (not pyramid) toaster (takes seconds). As the legs are adjustable its incredibly stable. We use this set up for 4 days or longer in our big tent as it can stay set up and used indoors.
For weekends and the smaller tents it is simpler to use suitcase stoves on backpacker tables outside, with the optional round griddle pan and fold flat toaster.
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
