Thinking of buying a Fiamma Caravanstore awning.  Does anyone have any advice on these.  Ideally we'd like to see some on display but haven't yet found anywhere to view them.

We are struggling putting up a very large Isabella awning on Senator Virginia and as we are mostly away for only long weekends the time and trouble doesn't seem worth it.  Hoping that a Fiamma caravanstore will make setting up easier.  Bit confused re caravanstore and caravanstore zip so if anyone can explain would be appreciated.

I have used a Caravanstore for several years now. Without doubt it is convenient to use but of course won't stand up to windy weather as well as an ordinary awning. We have a 3.60mt Caravanstore and it takes two of us to put it away. The differences between the standard and the Zip is that the Zip comes with a front and sides. The side zip along the edge of the canopy. You can buy sunblockers for the standard Caravanstore but they are not as intergrated.

We bought one this year & it's one of our favourite purchases, we too do mainly weekends & it's up in less than 2 minutes, it's great for storing the bbq & chairs under overnight & if it rains.

My best advice would be to buy 2nd hand, you'll get a bargain, we've bought two (one for inlaws) both 3.1m one £60 and one £75 in as new condition.

Sorry,I'm not a "caravaner"  (..but we've got an Omnistor windout on our current MH and have had Fiamma windouts on previous vans..) but as it's just for long weekend use,couldn't you just make do with one of the simple,lightweight type awnings?..

Something like the ones shown on  here?

(..there are loads about similar to these though..)

 I should imagine something like those shown above,would be easy enough to put up and probably no harder than a Caravanstor-type canopy,with sides..

(..we use an Outdoor revolution Easiporch and an Easicanopy,on our MH,which are easy enough to use).
