Does anyone own one of these? I'm thinking of buying one for out of season use, I get cold feet due to poor circulation and thought that a 450 bag might be just the job. Any comments on the bag if you have one would be much appreciated
I'm only average size but I find mine rather tight around my chest.
It is warm though.

My hubby and kids use these bags and they are bloody warm, coldest we have used them in is about -2 hubby says they are toasty within about a minute of getting zipped in, he is quite broard across the chest (42in) and says it is a bit of a snug fit but on the plus he likes head area, it has a pocket underneath that you can put a pillow in so it doesnt drift about :)
Thank you. I need a new bag as my old one has seen better days and as the 450 is the same size dimensions as my old one it should fit me fine, I just want to be warm. Think I might pop to our local camnping shop and see if they have them in stock
i have this one ...have used it from early April...lovely and roomy and very warm, i have yet to spend a full night zipped up in it (have to dangle my feet out it gets so warm)
my husband has that one bought from that very shop as they are our local camping shop. I don't need one anything like as big but I think I may need a thicker one as he is always hot and I am always cold
If its the same dimensions as your old 1 you'll be more than pleased. Vango bags are know for being a little on the snug side as mentions in other threads on here. I had the 450sq but after a couple of uses gave it to my wife as it was still to narrow and I was getting claustrophobic its the warmest bag I've had.
I then got the 300 xlsq, miles more room inside, not as warm but it's still warm enough for me as a 3 season bag.
I cant fault either bag just wish Vango did a 450 xlsq but alas they don't as far as I can tell.
I bought this for my son and it was worth every penny - for the first time he was so warm and comfortable he didnt want that dreaded early hour toilet trek.
I bought a purple and black Vango Nitestar 3 season bag. Special ladies version, being slightly shorter in length, and having a fleecey lined foot area inside. Excellent idea, and my feet were lovely and warm.
