Had my Thermorest short mat for 4 years now, had a fair bit of use but that's what there made for.

It's given up now, a large bubble has formed one end when its inflated and getting worse. I always store it unrolled.

I thought these were built for life so some may say? Taking into account the price as well I did expect more.

Should I contact Thermorest direct and explain? Very disappointed.

No harm in trying.

I had a mat bubble at one end - a cheap Wehnke that got wrecked by an impatient teenage daughter trying to roll it too quick. I wrote this off to experience, but if it had been an expensive mat I would have been well peed off!

I would ask Thermarest but after 4 years I would be doubtful that they can do anything for you

I had the same problem with a cheap one - that was replaced by the company so I would expect thermarest to do the same. There is nothing else that can be done other than get a new one so go for it.

I think I am about to contact alpkit again - my airic deflated this summer despite being correctly stored. I just need to check for leaks first..

I thought they did, someone told me ages ago. As with another poster, after 4 years and no receipt it could be tricky but will have a go.
