If the offer's finished now Tracey, just sit tight. They did pretty much the same offer a year ago so I bet it'll come rund again.
For anyone that bought one because of this thread I'm really sorry..... No I'm not - you're going to eat very well this year!

We've all got something we like to splash out on. They're over-priced in my own personal opinion, but I'm more of a gadget person. I've got my cooking sorted.
Outback oven is a lot cheaper, & I've got one, so I'm biased. Won't say any more, as I've already given my thoughts on the Outback Oven on the other thread, & on the Cobb on this thread.
Just one thing though. In my opinion they are both quite different tools.
Thank you for posting the advert.
I spent all last night looking at the videos for the Cobb. I could do with going to a presentation to get a real feel for it. I have looked online but it seems the UKcs discount must have finished now, thats a shame.
Thank you. That is the same price as Lakeland and they have a no quibble guarentee so would look there first. I'm really interested in the full package as that seems to be where the offer was, ie the whole set with accessories was working out to have about £30+ off it. Those extras are a huge price so its much better to buy as a bundle.
This is really easy for me to say because I've already got the whole lot but you don't necessarily need specific Cobb stuff. The only extra I would say is essential is the roasting rack but you can use pretty much any pan, wok or griddle plate with it. The only real benefit of having the real stuff is that it all fits in the same Cobb bag (once you've worked out the order!)

Thank you thats interesting to know! I am actually a cast iron fan and use this for most of my outdoor cooking. It would be great if I could get some sort of cast iron plates to fit on it. I thought the extender ring would be useful so I could get a chicken under?
There is a £5 off a £25 spend on at Lakeland at the moment that also works on gift vouchers so I'm going to order 4 x £25 which in effect will give me £20 off the price!
Yes the extender ring is very good but you don't need it for an average sized chicken. You also need to remember that if you make the area under the dome bigger it will take longer to heat up. it's not necessarily a problem but don't be tempted to keep lifting the lid to see how it's doing or it will take ages to cook.
The gift voucher thing is great - definite justification for buying one!
