The collapsable ones don't last long, and it's a pain if they start leaking in your tent while on holiday  We tried a roll-up one, which seems much more robust, but it takes two people to fill a kettle - one to hold the water carrier & the other one to hold the kettle and turn the tap! So we've been using a ten litre jerry can with tap for a few years now - easy to use & robust.

Some campers just buy a five litre bottle of water from the local supermarket & keep refilling it on site. A good idea if you're short of space in the car.

After more than 40 years of camping I agree with previous posts that there is not a decent collapsible water carrier.

There decent collapsible carriers for carrying water, but not for pouring it out.

Have to say I've given up with the collapsible water carriers - all the ones I;ve had have either leaked or been very hard to pour the water from.

I now use a small jerry can. Wish I;d got one years ago!!
