Yes, we always use carpets in bedroom inners. Adds to the insulation and makes it nice and cosy, as well as protecting the SIG (as Francais has already said).

Last year I used picnic rugs but this year i have bought carpet to fit out all of my tent. This means I can use my rugs outside.

Can't wait to get camping and use them.

Yes, bear lake carpet in the bedroom also. Acts as a layer of insulation under the bed and lovely and snug when you get out of bed

After looking at this for a while i have 2 options

2 x GELERT 2-3 MAN FLEECE TENT CARPET at £24 each
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170704573656?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

or

2 x Waterproof Blue Outdoor Beach Camping Mat Picnic Blanket at £10.50 each
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220873082008?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

The gelerts one would fit better as the two areas i need to cover are 2mx2m but for double the cost is it going to be worth it as some of the carpet would be under my bed :s
