We've got a camping table and normal (cheap) camping chairs but I really struggle to sit in a position to be able to eat at the table because I'm so low/at a funny angle.
I've got 2 youngish children (6 and 7) who struggle too.
I found this same dilemma. It seems most camping chairs are for relaxing in and not tall enough for the table. Then if you get chairs that are more upright they not comfy for lounging in. I now use the table as a work surface and we eat from our laps instead. Not ideal so I'm on the lookout for a shorter table.
Hi I know the fold up all in one table and seats picnic table gets bad reviews on here, but alot of people have them! I find ours is surprisingly stable and equally good for adults and kids to sit and eat at. My kids, 12 and 8 and my grandkids 5 and 2 can all reach the table well. Good that the seats don't move or tip too.
Hi. I work on a campsite and do know that the all in one table and chair units are a huge disposal problem for us. We get loads abandoned by the bins here every year. Draw your own conclusions!

I have a camping table asn stools which I got from Halfords - teh stools are separate, and the table is steady. With separates you do not get the weight imbalance which seems to be a problem with the combined units. When folded the stools fit inside the table.
I have seen similar in various camping shops - just theat when we were looking in Halfords hit the right moment as it was less than half price.
