My wife needs a slleping bag. Any recommendations. She feels the cold, but we are on a budget. we are unlikely to camp before May.
Also, I have a travelQ BBQ and I'm not sure what sort of gas canister I need for it. it came with some sort of adaptor, but i'm not sure what it is for.http://www.bbqworld.co.uk/bbqworld/products.asp?productname=TQ3225PB&gclid=CODm767sr64CFVAhtAod3R10Qw
What would be your limit for the bag? Don't worry about gas canister , just one of the normal propane cylinders you get from a gas shop will do nicely l You might have to change the adapter? Different places use different adapters........l
For your price range. Check vango nightstar 350 or snugpak . Make sure it's 3 seasons or more. Go onto eBay ,you get good bargins there. I personally have the nightstar 450 .....
We have a double sleeping bag, a Coleman Hudson. I also feel the cold and i love this sleeping bag. Hubby gets very warm and just unzips his side. We paid £30 for it a couple of years ago.
If she sleeps on her own. Do you possess a fleece as when I start the season off until my body gets used to it again and I can freeze. So I wrap myself in a cheap fleece blanket next to my skin, then under the opened up sleeping bag, with or without the hot water bottle. That means I always have an extra cover if needed, as at times sitting in the wheelie I can get cold so wrap it all around me the same fleece. Can be a rug over her legs at night when chilly. Also an added extra pillow height.Like a bolster size.I am a very cold mortal & it is okay for me.Always use a litle heater if on EDH a fan heater goes on/off by itself if you have one already. If not a hot water bottle you probably do already have somewhere.
OH is best at keeping you warm, but for that little extra, if apart as we are sleeping in the fc the fleece is perfect. It was the cheapest fleece we have seen, £5 did the job for me though.
