I have this intex bed.

http://furniture.pricegrabber.co.uk/futons-foldables-inflatable-beds/Intex-2-1-Classic-Downy-Double-Airbed/m63850721.html

Its 2 zipped together making it a raised bed.

It has lasted me 3 or 4 years now. I am replacing it this year(with the same one) after the kids had a sleepover on it in someones conservatory and they wore a hole in the corner against the corner of the bricks in the conservatory.

We've got an Intex double height one, and also a Tesco one - both with built in pumps - I love the Intex one, but can't get on with the Tesco one, I feel like I'm rolling over the edge every time I turn over so hubby has that one

I'm pretty sure my Intex one on the instructions says how to inflate it with an additional pump? I can't check though as it's in the trailer. We've always had EHU when camping, but on our one nighter at the end of the month just to test the new tent we won't have so I'm hoping we can use the rechargeable pump to inflate both of them?!

You can also get the same airbed without a built in pump - if you don't use EHU then I would recommend getting that version instead - we've got one which we take with us as a spare just in case.

We prefer to use 2 single airbeds rather than a double one as we don't like the bouncy feeling when either of us turns over!

This is mine here

Thanks everyone for the kind advice, I'm a large lady so have problems getting a decent bed, I dont think a campbed would hold me TBH, so that's probably not an option

I'm still hankering after an aerobed, oh well I'll keep looking around, shopping around for now, I'm sure one year I'll find one that suits me :)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. but we've been through a few of these intex mattresses too. The Queen size double height one lasted 2 trips then developed a leak. We couldn find the leak anywhere and it ended up in the bin. We use the Outwell Posadas double now and it was £69 but worth every penny and will last us years.
