Are you getting Sky+ functionality, pause live tv, record etc?, if so your Sky+ box is also a quirk of events like mine.

no the card is only the £20 one giving 4 and 5 ect........last for three years i believe.

i am not able to record on the sky+ box.do not intend to pay £10 to do it .BUT,we are having sky broardband/telephone fitted next week.i just though this would entitle us to have the recording facilities on our sky+ box.i will try to ask when they are fitting it.

                I thought the whole idea of having Sky as your Phone/BroadBand provider, was that as a Sky TV subscriber, you get the BroadBand for Free!, and you get a preferential rate on the phone calls.

Pesonally I would not entertain Sky, for either Phone or BroadBand, I would presently keep with BT for those services, especialy as I don't and never have subscribed to Sky.
