When we turn on Cold Water to fill the Kettle we get black floating bits, if we run the water more it clears but then we are using more water.
We have an aquaroll that we got with the van o/h said its clean inside?.
What do we need to do to get rid of this. Thanks

sterilising fluid should clean it, just for the dilution instructions and rinse very well.

start of the year you need to clean out your water system with milton or puriclean,leave for one hour then flush out with clean water.dont forget the filler pipe too.

I sounds like you have bacteria breeding in the fresh water system so you need to sterilse the system and flush through with clean water afterwards. The advice is not to use Milton as it contains a harsh chemical that attacks steel components in the hot water tank plus it doesn't destroy Bio-film that clings to the inside of the water barrel and internal plastic water pipes. Puriclean is the best chemical to use and it explains in the link what the product does to keep your water system healthy.
