After much (some) deliberation I've finally ordered myself a decent camp bed - the Nash Indulgence Mark 4 Bed chair - should be delivered tomorrow so I'll get to try it out on my trip this weekend :-)

It's expensive, and a complete luxury, but I figured what the heck, I go camping on average every 6 weeks throughout the year and deserve a little comfort :)

Ooo, that looks comfy! I'd love to try this type of bed but I'd never get one in the car with all the other stuff. Enjoy!

Carp bed chair is not for me, however, it does look very comfy, good luck with it.

It just arrived - Oh... My... God! How *am* I going to get out of bed on Saturday morning - it's more comfortable than my bed at home!

Can't wait to try it out Friday night now :-)

Hi crayfish,

You can't go wrong with one of those. Like the other poster above, I have a cheaper version, and that's fab. Never again will you have to sleep on a sloping bed. Unless you want to that is. The only problem is the bulk.

I should just add, that my wife went to stay at our daughters house for a few days last week. She took her carp bed, and large sleeeping bag with her, because it's more comfortable than the bed she would have had to use.

I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
