I'm thinking of getting one of these: Kampa Sabre LED lights, to clip onto our awning or tent frame (the idea being that it won't get hot and be risky near the canvas).
The thing is, it's a big thing to transport (4ft / 1.2m tube), so I'm wondering if it'd be a bu**er to transport in one piece?
Has anyone got one and, if so, would you please let me know your thoughts and views on it?
We're looking at this too as it will run off the inbuilt 12 volt system in our new tent.
It will go in the trailer, probably in a piece of ducting or drainpipe.
Interested if anyone else has one?
------------- Yes, the car is bigger than the 'van.
Hi we've got one. We paid £40 for it last year. We thought it a bit much for a light but as we didn't need to buy anything else went for it.
We love it.
We slot it through the tabs that connect the bedroom pods to the tent. You can sort of turn it so you get a bright light or a dimmer one.It has a really long wire so you can put it anywhere really and the wire will still reach to wherever it needs to be plugged in
As for transporting it.
We bought a canvas bag that we put the windbreak in so we put it in there with the wind break.
If they weren't so expensive i'd definitely buy another, but after saying that one is more than enough really.
Hope this helps.
