I'm going to stay in a friend's caravan over in turkey in a few weeks, and he's recommended I take a mosquito net with me - one to cover a single bed. Has anyone got any recommendations? I've heard horror stories of people being bitten through their net in the past, and I don't want it to rip or anything.
Life systems do good mosquito nets simple and imprenated to prevent biting through net . We took two round the world with us 15 years ago and we still have them still in good order with the odd hole . Depends on where in Turkey your going but we never had a big problem with mosquitos but they are there !
Thanks, I'll look into Life Systems for sure. I'll be travelling in the northern areas which aren't in any malaria hotspots, but better safe than sorry I suppose!
Alas, there's no Ikea near where I live. I'll try their website though. A colleague of mine got theirs from this site: "Mosquito Nets" - so I'll see how the prices compare.
