I will second the Lidl oven, from memory it was 15lt, very good little oven with fan assist. we used ours at a family function last christmas, and it worked a treat.
Aldi were doing a 13lt version, same price as the £30 Lidl oven, but some have said that was to small, I did see a real small oven in ASDA 6lt for £13 but it was a joke.
They all do pretty much the same thing so my suggestion is to get the biggest one you can manage. Some of them are so small you can only just get a small pie in them. They look big on the outside but the inside is very small in comparison. I bought mine from Argos last year for £29.99 made by Cookworks. It is 19 litres and is just about adequate for a couple of meals. Might struggle if you have a large family.
A lot of people on here recommend Halogen type ovens,I am stillin the consider buying an oven process myself, but I got some intersting replies when I enquired about them them. There are several threads on ovens posted on herhttp://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/chatter/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=6&TopicID=244613&SearchPagePosition=1&search=halogen+oven&searchMode=phrase&searchIn=Topic&forum=6&searchSort=dateDESC&ReturnPage=Searche.
------------- If the moon reflects the suns light, why does it not reflect the suns heat?
I have a halogen oven and often use it at home, sometimes it does mean cooking for the kids before us. I also have an electric (650w) steamer so hoping to be able to cook a variety of meals.
I have done a trial run of a faux fry up and it can be done on in the halogen oven beans and mushrooms can be heated in the steamer.
I had my lidl oven for 3 yrs now and used it many times whilst camping..it is still brilliant. Heats up quickly, enough space inside to cook meal for 4 (bought an extra small oven tray)and easy to keep clean!
Another vote for the halogen oven here my wife loves it, we bout ours from Aldi I think.
