As tent carpets are flame retardant while picnic blankets aren't and unless sewn together the latter are trip hazards, I would personally opt for tent carpet. The living area of the Zenobia doesn't look too big at 240 x 240cm. Kampa did some generic carpets (blue, grey and cream checks) and eBay has had some Vango carpets that are being sold by their size (probably for out of stock tents). I bought and cut down a Gelert carpet for one of our smaller tents as it was considerably cheaper than the dedicated carpet.
All you can do is go through a retailer's website that includes tent plans for various manufacturers and see if any living spaces are close to the required size. Be careful though if looking at carpet dimensions as some would appear to be rectangular when they aren't (hence why it is worth checking the plan of the tent).
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
