Cant believe how large and solid it is! Am I right in thinking I can use appliances up to 230v ON EACH SOCKET or is that combined??? I ask because I was expecting a bit more info with the instructions but nothing...I have just bought a Halogen heater (£7 Poundstretcher) 400 & 800w but its 230v. Should I be looking for 12v things instead from Camping shops? Please direct me to useful threads if possible. Ta.
That is a good price for the correct type of EHU lead. Does it have a hook or means of keeping it up off the floor?
You can have 230/240 volts from each plug. The bit to watch is how much of it in Amps/Watts you use at any given time. Most camp sites will supply you with 10 amps @230volts. This is the same as 2300watts or 2.3kw. Exceed this amount and you will trip out the supply. Small fridges, tvs, computer games etc will use no more than about 100 watts each. Your typical fast boil domestic kettle can be 3kw or more. Choose a kettle that uses no more than about 1.8 - 2 kw. Fan heaters which have 2 heat settings of 1 or 2kw are ideal. So long as your total consumption does not exceed wht the site supplies then you will be fine.

YES it does have things to keep it up off the floor...two clips to push onto a tent pole and also a large metal hanging hook which I think would be more useful.

I apologise if I have misunderstood you Queenie, but do not ever try to plug 12v appliances into 230v sockets (even if you could!) unless it has the proper transformer.
