what tv's do you all use and recommend? pref one with a dvd player in it?

Technika from Tesco's or Techwood from Morrisons. Both very well priced and really are super sets. I think you can get them for about £130 - £150 for the 22".

I got my Samsung and LG ones for that price and they can double as pc monitors too, handy when mine fried till I replaced it. Rest of the time its in my bedroom.

I know it sounds strange, but we use a 15" laptop - this allows us to watch dvd and videos etc , and also we've got a orange 3g phone card to allow access to the internet whereever we are ( no more paying for overpriced site wifi!! )

We have used the Meos 13.3"  Freeview TV with DVD and SD card slot for a year now. Works really well and the the SD card is useful for the odd movie transfered from a computer. Plays all DVD's. Only issue is the sound is not brilliant but it's a small TV so to be expected.
