I constantly press the button to keep the shower water running so I can't see how having this device attached would mean I will use any more water.
Like someone said early the last thing you want in a shower is for the water to go off, even fully heated shower blocks are cool when the water is not running. It is of course a totally different kettle of fish in a caravan shower but this device is not for there.
Good idea. Not wasting water, just making showering easier, and less time in the shower, so less queuing/waiting in the shower blocks!!!
Although I have found you have to press the button in fully to start the water flow, then wait for it to come out a little for the best shower experience.
The point of the push button shower valve is that the shower is not left running when not in use, this devise does not use lots of extra water.
when you are in the shower and it stops you push the button to restart, takes about 2 seconds
We have been on sites that did not have these push buttons and the kids thought it was great fun to turn the showers on and leave them running, especially at night draining the storage tanks, so no hot water in the mornings.
When did you last see a camp shower without a push button.
You dont have a push button shower at home so whats the problem with using this gadget.
Exactly, the push button is just so the shower is not left on. I have long hair and washing my hair whilst camping with showers that have push buttons is a blinking nightmare. I shall definitely be treating myself to one of these as, in the past, I have had to avoid sites with push button showers.
