Checked out our purchases from yesterday.
These are very substantial airbeds - will take up a fair bit more room than normal single airbeds but come with a smart carry handled bag and v. easy to get back in it ! Usual length but defo a good 6ins wider than the standard single.
The on board pump worked really well just plug into a 3 pin socket and switch on. Took about 1min 30sec to fully inflate and quieter than our Outwell electric pump used with the car cigar lighter.
Pump also deflates the bed fully so you don't have to squeeze any air out before rolling up.
Haven't spent a night on them yet but felt very comfy to lie on and so much easier getting in and out of because of the double height.
Have a gradual pillow shape built in at one end which would probably be enough for some but for us it should stop our own pillows sliding over the top end of the bed which always happened with our old ones - also have a slightly raised rim all round the edge (not completely flat) so should help keep you lying towards the middle of the bed - useful for people that wriggle a lot in their sleep like me and used to end up being half in bed half on the bedroom floor !
Can't wait to try them for real next weekend - will let you all know if they don't live up to expectations.
