Our black pan set was a budget range from Sainsburys. For camping and packing up etc we thought the basic aluminium pans were fine. But we only do soup, beans etc in a pan. We're more barbys and salads when camping.
Your needs might be different.

My advice is worth no more than the price paid for it
When I have the spare cash, I would upgrade to MSR Alpine Stowaway pots which have lids and are better made.

I have argos basics saucepans, in silver, they are still going strong after 3 years, only thing is the handles probably make them a bit bulkier to stack but they dont take up that much room.
I love them because they all nest together and come in a bag and are non stick. I can cook a chilli in the largest pan for 4 people and use the medium pan for the rice. The frying pan is ok but only fits about 3 slices of bacon so have a larger one I take when required.

I bought this Vango non-stick cook kit last year - after a week's use the non-stick coating was pretty much shot, and I wish I'd gone for stainless steel instead. But the black looks cool :)
