The heater of choice for me is a cheapo ceramic fan heater from Lidl's, with variable heat output, 2 heat settings, maximum of 2kW, thermostatically controlled, and equipped with an anti-trip function (it stops if it is knocked over).
It is very compact in size, and cost only about 15.00 GBP, bargain IMHO!
It was sufficient to heat my Hypercamp Escala 4 in both the bedroom pod as well as the living area when on full blast over the Easter weekend, when the temperatures dropped to below zero on some nights.
I needed to supplement it with a gas heater in the living area during Feb 12 in the evenings though, as it was colder (-10 deg C on one night), and the dog was hogging the fan heater in the bedroom.
