I would recommend an oven from Lidl or Aldi I have a m/wave fitted but tend to use it just to heat things up,the oven I bought from Lidl is used a lot more.

A few years ago, when we had a caravan I bought one of these,

Argos item number 423/5390 ( Sorry tried to do link but will not work)

I used to make full sunday lunches, joint, roast pots and yorkshire puds and the usual pies, oven chips and the odd ready meal  and absolutely loved this little oven, one of the best ovens I have cooked with it also has a built in grill which was just as good.  I now have a microwave and built in oven in our motorhome which  although good, both are nowhere near as good as this little oven, Cheap and well worth it.

Yep, I can second the mini oven from Lidl at 15lt it is slightly larger than the Aldi mini-oven which is 13lt, some folk said the Aldi oven was too small, but that is a matter of opinion of course.

Both ovens were £29.99 and you can select either top or bottom element, or both together, handy if EHU is offering low amps.

The Lidl oven has the advantage of having fan assist, which in theory should speed up cooking, and make it more even.

we have a Remoska (http://www.remoska.co.uk/) which we use both at home and also when going away for a week or so with EHU.  

My mother in law once took 3 away with her and once to cook a roast dinner for the family (she does this sucsessfully at home using three!) and managed to blow the fuses on the campsite!

we have never had a problem with it and the Roast Potoatoes are the best ever!

If you do decide to go for the microwave option, I would go for a small compact basic one from somewhere like Argos for around £30, the downside would be of course that you would only be able to reheat the micro-fries type chips whch can work out expensive.

I supose the ideal oven for your needs would be a combination type which microwaves, grills and convects, but these are quite expensive and heavy to lug around, and some of them the outer casings give off a lot of heat, so care would be needed as to what type of surface it stood on, and not to be placed near any of the caravans walls or under lockers ect.

I also bought a halogen oven for the caravan and was so impressed I bought one for home as well when we were away in the van over the festive period did some delicious meals including a full Christmas lunch.

I've been looking at the Quest mini ovens - just for warming things up - On Riversway Leisure they are just over £24 but Go Outdoor £30+, so with the price match and the extra 10% off at Go they work out just over £21
