Hi, can anyone point me in the direction of a list of tnet footprint dimensions - lots of the cheaper tent carpets only list the tent type, not the dimensions, so I wondered if there's a list to make it a bit easier to know which other tent carpet would fit ours?

Footprints are cut to fit specific tents not in sizes so all you need is the make and model of your tent i.e. Vango Icarus 500 etc.

Not sure there is any such list. Are you after a footprint or carpet - you've mentioned both. Or are you talking of footprint purely in the sense of perimeter dimensions ?

Have you narrowed down your choice of tent ?

I know the size of my tent, just not the size of other tents for buying carpets for it - I know I can make a footprint out of a tarp and that it needs to be marginally smaller, but I think I'd prefer a "proper" carpet even if it doesn't go all the way to the all of the edges..

I'd like a carpet for the living area of the tent, which is 2.45m x 1.8m, I did think about picnic blankets but dd can be a bit klutzy when tired so I fancy something with no edges she'd trip on ( she's 13, at that age when their limbs don't always hear their brains, lol)

The cheaper carpets, for example, on somerset camping, don't always list the size of the carpet.

Not sure if such a list exists...? However it would be handy if it did!

I notice you have put 2.45m X 1.8 living area, Is this square or shaped (IE Outwell Nevada has a narrower front)? What is the make/model of the tent you are looking to get the carpet for? Do you have a budget in mind..?
