Surely someone must have come accross this problem!

I don't want to stick the mounting bracket of my sat nav to the windscreen, as

A) it leaves dirty marks on the winscreen and

B) it has to be removed before closing the motorhome blinds!

I thought that the best way would be to stick the mounting bracket to the dasboard,

except it will not stick as the dashboard is not smooth, I have heard that there

is a metal disk that sticks to the dashboard and then the sat nav sucker will stick

to it, but I cannot find a shop that sells the metal disk.

Has anyone esle been able to fix the mounting bracket to the dashboard?

No problem with curved surfaces and no marks... 

It fitted easily enough and seems reasonably sturdy..

The trouble is that I just know my wife is going to tell me one day soon that I am not going to be pleased and she has knocked it off.

If it survives my wife, I will be impressed.
