Hello

I am new to this forum :)

Last year when we went camping i was very cold in the evenings before going to be and would sit inside our tent with a blanket around me. So i am wondering about getting a heater for this season but not sure what one? I am nervous about having a heating within the tent and it does worry me whether its safe or not. We have 2 children 6 and 3 so it would be something that would work well with them. Anyone got any advice?

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum! We have a 3 year old and use a 2kw flsat electric fan heater from argos, we find this works well as it sits on the floor under a camping unit(plenty of ventilation above it) out of the was of the little one. Didn't cost much at all and can't believe we waited so long to get one.

We have a small fan heater with thermostat, cool blow function and frost protection control.
It can be used on 1kw or 2kw settings with adjustable heat setting.

In our large Khyam Ontario 8 we have only ever used it on 1kw with the heat set about half way.

We have two boys 4 & 5 we use an outwell fan heater...1 or 2kw settings and cool and also has a cut-out switch so if it gets knocked over it switched off. We were camping over easter when it was about 9degress outside, the tent didn't drop below 14/15degrees, and that wasn't on constantly.
