not just trackies and trainers. cracking deals on bicycles and accesories. does a great rugby line too. oh and hiking walking etc.
have a proper google and look at what they do sell. trainers and trackies are a tiny tiny part of what they do do.
Good to see that word is spreading about the new Decathlon in Coventry. As posted above, we are not just your standard sports retailer. We want to make more sports accessible to more people, regardless of age or ability. We also put on events and demos, and are keen to support local clubs and competitions.
If anyone is local, we will have a stand in front of Tesco for a weeks from the end of May. Feel free to come and talk to us and see some of our products. The store will open in October. I hope to see you there.
I love going to Decathlon but I'm not sure we need any more Quechua pop-ups! lol
Our nearest is an hour and a half away so we try to make Ikea/Decathlon Nottingham (Giltbrook)our 'motorway stop' to stretch our legs if we ever go down south.

We have one that opened in Bolton last year,I for one won't be rushing back.
Me neither. I went in a couple of days after it opened and wasn't impressed at all. Fine if you want outdoor clothes and bikes but very little in the way of camping stuff with about a dozen tents on display outside. And why on earth does everybody go bananas about Quechua tents, I think they are the ugliest things ever invented and just look like big pop up laundry baskets. Not for me I'm afraid, I won't be going back

Its not really a camping shop, it only sells Quechua tents & a small range of camping gear in season. Its mainly a sports wear, sports equipment & bike shop. For campers Go Outdoors is 10 times better.
I'd love to have a Decathlon in this part of the country.
Whenever we visit Mr Riff's brother in Nottingham, I make a point of "just going for a look". I honestly think the build quality of Quecha stuff is better than Hi-Gear (yes we have a Go Outdoors up here).
Festival season is upon us and I will be using my Quecha hiking boots (comfier than wellies AND waterproof), Quecha waterproof jacket and Quecha SIM (ligher, comfier and cheaper than Thermarest - really!)
I'm in Nottingham next week but won't have time to visit on this occasion - boo! :(
------------- ...after all an awning is just a three-sided tent!
