We have a Weber pizza stone and it works really well.
Weber did a roadshow cooking tour last year in a vintage Airstream caravan which was great, they demonstrated in a local garden centre the huge variety of things that could be cooked on both the gas and charcoal bbqs. We watched for a good hour and got load of really tasty free food, I hope they do another this year.
The pizza stone does allow for really good quality fresh pizzas to be cooked on the bbqs in about 10 minutes, it's a good party idea for kids or adults in the Summer, let everyone roll out their own dough, make and cook their own fresh pizzas. Haven't used it for anything else but would certainly recommend it for pizzas
