solar or wind up radio and torch was thinking of buying one of these sick of using batteries

just wondering are these any good and can anyone advise please

We had a wind up radio got fed up with having to wind it up every 15 minutes though and went back to a normal one

Why not invest your pennies in a solar battery charger, this way you can keep the same camping gadgets running.

Here's one I found found for under £6

Our wind-up radio is one of the few bits of our camping kit that very quickly got consigned to the back of the cupboard, never to be seen again (along with the folding water carrier).

We use rechargeable batteries for lights and radio and have a couple of car chargers to keep them topped up.
