Having bought an Outwell Michigan L Tent last year and planned to buy the extension this summer. However, I've searched nearly everywhere and I can't find the extension anywhere.

Does anyone have any recommendations on which other extensions might fit the Michigan L?

In the same situation. Have tried almost everywhere to get the extension. Did you manage to find one on the end?

if you cant find the actual outwell michigan extension, id suggest sit down with a tea/coffee/soft drink, pen & paper and goto the outwell website. note the height & width of your tent.

then go through the different tents on the outwell site that have extensions available for them and find a tent that is as close to your tent size at the awning attachment area as possible and then investigate the extension for that tent.

id say that give or take a maximum variation of 10cm either width of height is workable and you then get your extension.

as an example, i have a bear lake tent but outwell only make an open ended awning for it, rather than an extension with a door that can be closed. the Montana tent though is almost but not quite the same size and the Montana tent has a more squarish profile compared to the more rounded profile of the bear lake tent.
however the montana awning does have enough leeway & give in it to be attached to the bear lake tent and works quite well as a porch that can be closed if the weather takes a turn for the worst.
im not bothered that the montana extension is a different fabric to the bear, and the colour difference is very subtle too.

You may have to look at a Gelert canopy as there are no current Outwell ones in Mocca that fit
