Anticipating the colder, damp weather I decided to look for a solution, other than hot water bottles - to help my tired aching bod put up with the stress of camping - which I love.

I found that as I generally have my little car nearby, and I use 12v hairdryer/straightners (for tidying myself up) the 12v comes in very handy...as does the power invertor for air bed.

However - I have now discovered the 12v heated massaging seat pad!! Lovely. £5 off Ebay second hand, HoMedics the brand is.

Pro's This is great for 15mins sit after struggling with tent, after a walk or just perfect with that first cup of tea!

Con's Your car battery needs to be well charged.

Remember to be safe and only use in the car - Not in the tent/wet/outdoors. Read instructions before use!

the hairdryer also comes in handy to heat the beds/sleeping bags before you get into them, especially air beds
