HI guys got a bit of a prob can any one help. Need to add a bike rack to my trailer trouble is i have already added side extensions to said trailer and not sure if i can add trailer bars to the sides now .Can any one help

You can get a bike rack that fits on the towbar.  This still gives roome to hitch a trailer.  I have one which was given to me and it fits about 2 bikes but there are some that fit more. these are what I mean ...

Off the main topic..but if someone is looking to drag an already extended trailer,whilst lugging bikes,with,I assume,a loaded car,then at the very least they'd need to be checking the nose weight...

..and probably even fitting some form of rear spring assistors,to help restore the ride height...

(..Just because something will "fit in/on" or can be "lashed to" the vehicle or trailer,doesn't mean that it's legal or safe to do so...)

We have a Maxxrax but our maximum noseweight (Zafira) is 75kg.

The Maxxrax weighs 12kg, so we can only carry two bikes at approx 15kg each if we want to take the trailer as well. You have also got the issue of clearance for the trailer to turn.

Weight is a real issue if you want to start carrying bikes and a trailer together. We tend to take one or the other to be on the safe side.

Thank you for all your replies you have given me a lot to think about. I agree that weight is going to be an issue and the answer is going to be no bikes on holiday for now .
