At the moment have a few picnic rugs on the floor which are always in the washing machine. If I decide to buy carpet for Hi Gear Zenobie 6 tunnel tent,  how do I wash it after our trips. Will it be too large for washer? 

Maybe I should stick to large picnic rugs?

most tent carpets are cleanable by just wiping down with a damp cloth and leaving to dry naturally...at least that's what the labels say...

pegged ours for last tent along the washing line,sploshed some liquid soap all over it then gave it a good rub and hose down, then let it dry.No hose pipe ban for us up here

Put it out on the patio, a bit of hot water and laundry detergent clean with brush and hang over the line to dry.
