Topic: Running a Cadac from external gas outlet

We have a Lunar Solar 524 and are considering buying a Cadac Safari Chef.

We would be intending to run the Cadac from the caravan's external gas outlet. Am I right that we would be able to connect the two with just the relevant gas hose?

Gas point connector? When I look at the caravan, will such a thing be obvious?

Ensure you get the Safari Chef LP as there is also a HP model which runs from cannisters and needs a converter to run on bottled gas. The HP model is often a few pounds cheaper but will not work for what you are planning to do.

as long as its not a canister or cartridge model, your fine, I have refillables on an old swift of mine converted with a regulator on board and have an external gas socket I always connect to.

In fact I have my refillable at home just now to use with the cadac as my gf nicked my last gas bottle!
