We leave ours on all the time, the only time we have switched it off is when it's been really cold on a night, other than that we just leave it.

Hi, we've left ours running 24 hours a day over a weekend and it's been ok so far but would be really interested to hear if we shouldn't be doing this!
I've looked online and can't find any warnings so it will be interesting to hear what others think.

the instructions on my new one say it should only be run for 6 days and then needs a 2 hour break to prevent ice build up on the fan.

well timers are dirt cheap so you could set it to go off for a period of time in the middle of the night when it's going to be coolest.

We run our 24/7 never had any problems sometimes water drips out of the top when I open it so I sometimes keep opened food items in little sandwich bags
