IMHO, the power output of the heater should not exceed 2kW at its highest setting.
I do not believe a fan heater with this output can sufficiently heat up a big tent in its entirety.
However, it should be sufficient to heat up the living area, or the sleeping area (if it is opened up into one big sleeping area), one at a time.
I could be wrong, however, that's what I found when I went camping in Dec and Feb.
