hi there has anyone used elsan organic loo fluid - if so is it any good? at the moment we use thetford aqua blue and pink

I think the organic type is what they call the environmental friendly liquid which I think you will find is green in colour and more expensive. If it is green in colour then people have commented on here saying that it's not that good as it doesn't break down the waste as effectively as the blue liquid does. Although I have never used it myself I have never had a problem with the separate blue and pink fliuds so I will just continue using what works effectively works well.

It's not green in colour, it's a deep purple colour and a first class product. At our local dealers it costs about £9 for 2ltrs and at the minute you get 2ltrs of screen wash free with it.

One of the main things we like about it is, it does'nt smell, not like the Thetford stuff. Plus you only need to carry one bottle

Bought this a couple of months ago.  Have only used it about twice but it smells lovely and seems to work just as well as Thetfords nuclear blue one.  I didn't like the Top and Tail as found the smell very strong and sickly.  Always used the Thetford Blue and Pink but felt uncomfortable as it is such a strong chemical environmentally wise.  The Elsan was exactly the same price as Thetford in our local camping shop and as blueexpo97 says, came with a large free screenwash.  Would recommend it.

Can't put up with Fenwicks as the smell is so bad it makes me feel sick, I think I would rather use nothing! The Elsan products always seem to perform well and are normally a bit cheaper than the Thetford equivalents and seem to break down the lumpy bits unlike some of the the organic toilet chemicals.
