Hi folks

 

Have just got back from a very pleasant but very windy weekend.

 

Our Mojavo Hi - gear stood up well but a couple of the poles

 

Is it as easy as taking them off and slotting some new ones on in which case can anyone suggest a good place to get them from or is it more complicated than that?

Hi, your message isn't clear but I take it you've split a pole? I've looked at the spec but can't find what size the poles are. Might be best to contact GO or Hi Gear and ask, and either arrange spare sections there or contact camping shops. Unless it's the pole section with the angled ferrule on it should be fairly easy to replace a section, if it is the ferruled section you'll probably need to talk to someone where you bought it .

At GO in Swindon, they have a bucket of spare poles.. might be worth popping into your local one and see if they have the same thing!

And it is as easy as just threading them back on .. we managed to slice through the elastic bungee cord on our last trip, ordered some more on eBay (better than was originally supplied) and just rethreaded all the poles back together

Tentspares.co.uk are really helpful for anything you can't find and I found them much cheaper.

I have found the suitable ones after a brief conversation with a nice lady at tent spares and a bag of spares is on the way.

 

Really was quite blowy by St Davids over the last few days!!
