Or maybe I mean smallest, in terms of how it folds or packs down. I'm looking for a decent table that's fine and sturdy enough when up, but comes apart (preferably) or folds down pretty small when packed away.

Does anyone have a recommendation? I have been looking but figured UKCS opinions were more valid (and less biased) than that of the manufacturers.

Thank you in advance

One of THE best purchases I made was an aluminium slatted table which folds down to a bag the same as you pack camping chairs into.

My friend has tried to steal it off me many times and we love it so much we bought a double sized one to put in the porch for food prep etc.

Argos have got one on sale at the moment too..

We have one of the Outwell Halifax tables (the small one) - not the cheapest table around, but its very sturdy when up and packs down very small and light. I think its worth every penny.

I agree with the roll up top aluminium tables - very light but sturdy and pack very small.

Had a look at the Outwell Vampgirl - real nice. Looks like it's going to be aluminium - thanks again everyone :)

Try and get one with adjustable legs to help stop the wobble
